Final Happy Place
What is my Happy Place?
essential ?: HOW CAN ARTISTS USE PHOTOGRAPHY TO COMMUNICATE THEIR IDEAS?
ASK YOURSELF ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE GETTING STARTED: Think of where and when you are/were your happiest? What do you do there? What do you wear? What special objects are with you? What about it makes you happy? What are the best ways to photograph yourself in your Happy Place? What photographic techniques will you use to best represent this place and your self in this place? ... soft window light or harsh side-lighting?, slower shutter speed shots to show motion or normal?, close-ups to show the details of something or long shots to show the whole big picture? Whats props do you need for this shoot? How will you edit your photos to improve the overall presentation of your shots?

Written Reflection: Respond on the back of peer grading sheet
1) Reflect on your project:
Read through the peer feedback. Do you agree or disagree with the comments?
Why or why not?
2) As our 4th assignment, do you feel you demonstrated ALL of your skills and knowledge and did your absolute best?
3) Rate your project:
Look at the critique criteria on the presentation sheet.
In the last column on the sheet, rate yourself 5(best) - 1(worst) in:
Creativity 5 4 3 2 1
Storytelling 5 4 3 2 1
Quality of photos 5 4 3 2 1
Presentation 5 4 3 2 1
What one area could use the most improvement?
4)Come up with a plan for growth. Be specific...What will you do to improve your project?
5)What would you like your end grade to be? (if you rate a 3 in storytelling, will you make improvements to get to a 4?)
***if you did not present your Happy Place today, write a plan for completion.
From today's sharing, what did you notice about others' projects that can help you with your own assignment? (I saw & I liked, I did not like...)
What specific shots do you need to capture still?
Set a completion date. What completion date goal did you set for yourself?
